These Rice Packs are great double double use.
They have be put in the microwave for a few minutes (start at 2 minutes and add 20 second intervals to avoid overheating and ruining) to be used as heating pads and reused.
OR
Throw in the freezer and use as a cooling pad. Great for summer time at sporting events (keep in plastic bag in cooler at sporting games like softball/baseball). Or for use on minor injuries.
This item can be use over and over for long term use.
The best part is it can be used as an Aromatherapy item also. To keep with my multifunctional use I don't add it to the rice. I prefer to add the oils diluted on my skin and use the rice pad to help with the effects. For example, Peppermint gives a cooling effect, or Lavendar for calming.
